The assignment was to use InDesign to make a 4 page layout which included a cover page. I decided to do an extension of the music theme for my icon project and make a catalogue for the hypothetical music store displaying some of the items they might sell. For the cover, page I used my guitar icon and placed text using a 2 column grid. For the rest of the layout I found images of instruments that had transparent backgrounds and placed them onto the pages following a 3 column 6 row grid. The text boxes also follow the columns of the grid, many of them fall outside of the rows. I also used the icons I made in the background by turning them into solid colors and lowering the opacity. The text and background across the layout all uses colors from the same palette as my icons.
