The assignment was to use Illustrator to make a set of icons (above) based on a certain topic as well as a poster (below) to go along with it. I decided on the topic of musical instruments and equipment, since I am a musician. To make the icons look like a true set, I made a scheme of 7 colors I thought would fit the icons well as well as complement each other nicely. For my poster, I decided to make a sign for a strings instrument sale at a hypothetical music store. I chose to use 4 of the icons that are strings instruments, and organized them along with text and added forms all following the same color scheme.
